Course Overview
Using a combination of lectures and hands-on workshops, this 3-day course will provide students with the essential information technology skills to successfully setup, maintain and troubleshoot a DeltaV system. The increase in adoption of technologies such as virtualization, cybersecurity, business system integration, and complex networking demand a new set of skills. This course delivers core learnings and techniques providing a targeted launch point for process control engineers, instrumentation/electrical technicians, IT staff, and others whose responsibilities require them to adopt and successfully use these technologies. Upon completion, students will be prepared to attend other higher-level courses.
